This aural cocktail, concocted by Daz-I-Kue and DnS, is a sound for sore ears. Gum an acronym for Grown Up Music, is a fun song that speaks to DnS's longing to revisit that good old feeling we used to get from good Hip Hop music. The beauty of this is that they were able to accomplish this without ending up with some contrived throwback record. In fact, Daz and Dns effortlessly capture the essence of what Hip-Hop is (or should be) in about 4 minutes. In this writer's opinion the true test of an authentic Hip-Hop song is its ability to make you dance. Gum Easily hits the mark! I-kue's trademark chunky, funky, bottom heavy production style is utilized to the fullest and complemented, by Dip n Steam's unique wordplay. Heads will nod. The beat is undeniable and the hook is infectious! This needs to be on every dj's playlist...Worldwide! Chew On This!! No doubt!
