Hailing from the same hot-bed of activity as Lazer Sword, San Francisco's GoT makes a looser swinging counterpoint to his peers' MDSLKTR-esque jams, knitting Chicago house into Reggaeton patterns on the hypnotic 'Equator Jam', or dubstep with crunked electronics on 'Straight From Cassette'. However, the undoubted highlight has to be Roska's remix of 'Predator Mode', circling techno synths over heavily kinked tribal-tech rhythms and fat square bass stabs as a contender for one of his best tracks this year.
