NYC disco maestro Nicky Siano brings the extended goodness! Salsoul classic, "Law & Order" by the Love Committee graces the A-side; an uptempo and vitalic groove, brimming with live instrumentation - guitar, bass, flute, strings and brass all meeting for one of those late 70s disco jams where everyone's in the pocket and working in harmony. The male vocal part is especially worth a mention. Siano's edit obviously makes use of the vibrant jam sections, extending out the instrumental bits towards the end of the side making for some very seductive licks; before reintroducing the big vocal back into the track towards the end. 11 minutes plus of exuberant disco hedonism, lovely. On side B, Funky Nassau's "Beginning Of The End" gets flips by Siano. Taking this infectious RnB number from '71 and arranging & extending for maximum dancefloor damage. Siano's sympathetic but creative ear doing wonders for this already established track.
