Edo.G explains "The Truth Hurts was my don't call it a comeback record. It was the first full length album I'd put out since the Roxbury 02119 album in 1993. What makes it one of my best to date was everyone I'd worked with on it from DJ Premier to Black Thought. It spoke volumes on the people who had respected my accomplishments."
