This followup to "UMI SAYS" features 2 choice cuts: "RIVER GIRL" flips a JETS' classic while "DO YOU BOX?" is an original FALTY DL production previously unreleased. Limited and never to be repressed! The A side, "River Girl", is simply a great piece of house music with subtle tribal influences and sultry vocal samples, all wrapped up in a hybrid coating consisting of hip-hop, juke and even a little synth-pop, perhaps. On the flip, "Do You Box?" goes much deeper down the rabbit hole, offering an odd, broken beat that is just slightly too fast for hip-hop, and a tad slow for house. Whatever you would want to call it, it's clear that FaltyDL has the ability to marry just about any genre together.
