Attracting the kind of dewy-eyed attention from The Wire magazine that is usually reserved for some avant-bollocks no-ones ever heard of, Inch-Time (two brothers from somewhere-or-other) make crisp and dry electronica that combines its machine heart with a tacit sense of emotion oft absent from such music. Fusing an icy predilection that is well reflected in the A's title, Inch-Time weave the kind of sparkly compositions that have long been the preserve of EU, Bola et al., yet somehow elevate it above the increasingly soporific tendencies that blight the genre to create a lovely smudge of digital emotion.
