"Now officially milking it, Justice re-release their obscenely good 'D.A.N.C.E.' as a single approximately four minutes after it was out last time. This remix 12" strives toward the wholly improbable outcome of improving on Justice's instant pop classic 'D.A.N.C.E.', with Kanye West's favourite Parisian production crew handing over the controls to Warp Records' Jackson And His Computer Band, Mstrkrft and Alan Braxe & Fred Falke. Turns out you'd be pretty hard-pressed to find a better selection of reinterpretations: Jackson comes up with an absolute corker, obliterating the structure of the original, keeping just one or two recognisable elements before smashing it all up into an expertly composed, adventurous mass. Better yet is the near sublime Mstrkrft remix, a version so good that Justice's own live version (found on the B-side) takes inspiration from it. At a stretch, I suppose it's like Dylan incorporating Hendrix's cover of 'All Along The Watchtower' into his live sets. I told you it was a stretch. An awesome twelve nonetheless.
