Madteo returns to Morphine Records half a decade after they first introduced him with 'Memoria'. In stark contrast to last year's amazing 'Noi Na' Lp and the 'Strumpetocracy' 12" for Nuearth Kitchen, it sounds like the machines/computer's barely hanging in there long enough to do their thang. A-side, 'Insider' marks a pocked bleep coda countered with wormy bass , evading any kind of easily gratifying "drop" in favour of intricate psychedelic patterning which works a treat. B-side, 'Hiding Hand Principle' feels like an illicit recording of some ritual you weren't meant to be privy to; hushed voices incant just out of earshot against sluggish bass thump and sickly, whining drones, whilst 'Pram Reset' sounds like Stephen O'Malley with a 2 buck guitar and fisher price amp....
