Handy, extended mixes of 'Headless' and 'Rubber Tree' from Pearson Sound's eponymous debut LP, cut at 45rpm a side each by Matt Colton at Alchemy. In the 'Headless' version he conducts a longer seance with acephalic voices, strafing drones and sputtering kick/clap syncopation ripe for layering with other freakish constructions. With 'Rubber Tree' he taps a severely desiccated palette of drums and hollow bass into sparky, frictional swing coming off like Anthony Shakir at his maddest, most reduced.
