Xrabit + DMG$ aren't stepping into your world so much as inviting you to step into theirs. Hello World is an album the likes of which has never been heard-- a unique mix of influences from across the world that come together on one of the funniest, most irreverent, freshest hip hop records in a long, long while. Unafraid of being catchy, less interested in anyone's definition of "cool" beside their own, Xrabit + DMG$ make deep-fried, full-fat party music for people who like their parties interesting.
The opening "Damaged Good$" (the MCs' original group name) establishes the album's tone. Producer Xrabit snaps together a beat that wears its influences lightly and is both catchy as fuck and avant-garde. Over it, Trak Bully and Coool Dundee show why they're an MC duo to watch. Straight out of deepest Texas, they use rap to explore their own lives rather than as some Biblical document with which Thou Must Not Fuck. Tall, laid-back, and deep-voiced, Coool constantly shows his grasp of hip hop lineage with witty, referential rhymes. Trak, the quicker, more "Southern" sounding of the pair, is just straight-up fly. From there, the group are off and running.A1 Damaged Good$ A2 Ferris Bueller A3 Love Of My Night B1 Are We Friends B2 My Stereo B3 Trak's Promise C1 Salt Shaker C2 Party In My Pants C3 Thunderkats D1 Follow The Leader D2 Same Ole D3 Dirty South D4 Cheese
