Straight from '79, "We Like To Party" is an in-house Washington block party anthem from Carl Maxx Kidd's Al & The Kidd Records collective. Loaded with boogie drive from the relentless pianos and percussion and raw funk from the lavish bass thrills and runs, this more than testifies to its Go Go title. With big gospel style vocal chants and a fired free-spirit, the vocal's so strong it even peppers the instrumental. 10 minutes per side, too... There's a lot of partying potential right here.
