The man Ilar returns, this time with a 12" emission for the Merck imprint. The material hovers around wickedly dark and complex electronics, with complicated beats and programming, but strays from the typical 4/4 floor style. The name of the release itself comes from the old spelling of his hometown, Ludvika, which was in use a hundred years ago. For the source of the tracks, Anders has gone back to his origins, sampling himself from old tapes, including some of the first tracks he ever composed on the piano when he was six years old. He transforms the noises made by animals, nature, humans, instruments and machines into a squahed listening experience that takes you back into the Swedish countryside to experience Ludwijka firsthand.
