Assisted by engineer, Rashad Becker, and vocals from Nina Kraviz, Gudrun Gut, Om'mas Keith, Jamie Lidell and Erika Janunger, the trio once again swerve any help from computers or technology (save some posh mics, we reckon) to create a richly textured body of what they call "songs rather than tracks that slowly evolve". Their unfeasibly tight, organically mechanized grooves are always conducted with a sense of restraint and deftness, exemplified in highlights such as the cool-yet-manic 'Fantasie Madchen' featuring Gudrun Gut or the darkly jazzy pump and clatter of 'Verwahrlosung' with Nina Kraviz and the breakneck pelt of 'Skiffle It Up'.
