Quite surprisingly, Clubroot's tracks have remained untouched by external forces, until now. SPL, Bryan Zentz and Kuma chip in with powerful, 'floor-ready services. SPL's mix of 'Semptiternal' is easily the ruffest and tuffest of the lot, crashing in with artillery strike snares and amped-up hardcore bass with dramatic results. Brian Zentz is well known for his tough techno output, but makes a strafe into atmospheric halfstep with this 'Dulcet' version, keeping the drums and melody suspended in dread airspace while the bass brings the menace from below. Taking a different look at the same track, Kuma's mix is more anaerobic, pushing into a closer, claggier effect akin to the recent Raime 12".
