The First Lady of UK house music does her dubbed-out London swing ting with panache on the follow-up to debut album 'Playin Me'. Shaking around a 4/4 grid, three tunes bring back that infectiously sexy late night vibe that Merissa Campbell practically holds the patent for. 'Hold Me' dices with rattlesnake shakers, dabs of bumping sub and her trademark, loved-up vocals in a matrix of bouncing delays and spacious reverb, whilst 'Oi Dirty' with Scratcha DVA dips low on a pendulous bashment vibe for backstreet blues and red-lit basements, whereas 'Molly' (we can't help but think it'd be better titled 'Mandy' for proper UK flavour) tips out on a wickedly squelchy acid dub flex ripe with plump subs and deepest dub chords.
