Daniel Haaksman returns with four club ready remixes of his debut EP Who's Afraid Of Rio? "Parolar De Veso," remixed by Ku Bo (Stefan Morth, aka Stereotyp), explores Afro-Brazilian music territories and mounts the lyrics of Rio De Janeiro's MC crew SD Boys onto an uptempo dancehall beat. Baltimore's Scottie B fits the track into his trademark minimalist breakbeat booty shape. The B-side features MC Jennifer, remixed by Italian producer Riva Starr and Hong Kong turntablist DJ Beware. The seventh installment in Man Recording's Funk Mundial series finds Made To Play label boss Jesse Rose teaming up with a major voice in baile funk, Deize Tigrona, from Rio De Janeiro. Rose surprises with a highly percussive, mid tempo track that is cool in atmosphere and heavy in bass. The flipside features Berlin talent Oliver $'s muscular, booty shaking take on baile funk. Two Berlin talents celebrate one of Brazil's hottest voices.1 Daniel Haaksman Parolar De Veso (4:29) Featuring - SD Boys Remix - Ku Bo 2 Daniel Haaksman Parolar De Veso (4:49) Featuring - SD Boys Remix - Scottie B 3 Daniel Haaksman Who's Afraid Of Rio?
