The Bahraini-born, British-based musical duo Dar Disku release their debut self-titled album, weaving their way into both the dancefloor and home environments with irresistibly broad appeal.
A celebration of their Arabic heritage and multicultural influences, the album brings golden age West Asian and North African sounds to a new audience while still channeling the electronic focus that their DJ sets are known for. They seamlessly cross from disco to breakbeat, piano house and ambient, and invite guest artists from Algeria, Turkey and Bahrain as well as legendary Indian singer Asha Puthli.
