Recorded at Colemine Records HQ with Leroi Conroy, it sees the band capture their retro soul-jazz feel, the new addition – and subject of the tune laying down the funk as the guitar takes the lead in the track, that in truth could have been recorded any time in the last 50 years. It’s something else, the feel and funk being secondary to the ear worm of a tune that the boys cut, with Delvon’s Hammond prodding and cadjoles got the track onwards
