DOLBY-ANOL (pronounced the rude way, don't be shy!) may not have been flaunting their acid-squelch electro delights for long but the Glasgow, Scotland based two-piece already find themselves sharing bills with Erol Alkan, Phones, Simian Mobile Disco and DJ Mehdi, as well as playing festivals such as Glastonbury and Dottodot. The Dolby And Gabbana EP is the fourth release on Tigerbeat 6's dancefloor friendly sublabel Tigerbass. Seeing them in the company of some of the USA's most radical and uncompromising producers such as KID606, DROP THE LIME, KNIFEHANDCHOP and CURSES. The release pushes itself towards the boundaries of acid house, techno and electro, really highlighting the group as creative pioneers in the saturated, somewhat dull contemporary British dance scene. The standout track and soon to be club favorite "Heather, I'm Dry" bumps and grinds into a climactic jam that can hold up against any other tracks out there currently competing for your hard earned dancefloor dollars.
