Eddie and The Valiants are a musical tribute to a singular sound that originated in the 1960s on the West Side of San Antonio. The group is focused on the genre sometimes referred to as, "That West Side Sound" or, "South Texas Soul."
Both sides are retro 60s sounds set around the 60 bpm mark targeted at the lowrider market. "Please Come Home" is typical lowrider fare with."My Dear" being an earlier doo-wop style ballad. I'm not sure whether they are original songs, or more likely covers given that "Please Come Home" was written by Henry Garcia (The Cheaters)
