Berlin's first lady of techno presents the successor to 2008s 'Sool' with a blend of minimalist electroid, tech-house and guitars for 'Dust'. 'Ourotopie' starts off with an uncanny, and perhaps unknowing, homage to the Exorcist theme coupled with Berlin ambience and a throbbing house bass, before 'Flashy Flash' jiggles on a squidgy electro-tech vibe. Her stabs at indie-pop dance crossovers on 'Sun The Rain' and 'You' aren't wholly successful, coming off like some sub-Brit-pop theme tune to a childrens TV show starring Dom Joly, but when she's back with the bleeps on 'Should We Go Home' and 'Dream' she seems more at ease.
