Daphni (Dan Snaith aka Caribou) takes everyone's favourite synth-o-nauts Emeralds to the dancefloor in two epic mixes of the title track from their last album on Editions Mego. As you might have predicted, it's a spiralling, dizzying affair. Mix 1 attacks from the off, ratcheting the drama to intergalactic, James Cameron-esque levels with turbulent arrangement powered by heads-down and galloping Techno rhythms. Mix 2 is about delayed gratification, holding off the beat with the skill and panache of classic Carl Craig productions. A massive 12", primed for peak-time behaviour - limited copies!
