2014 repress - sugar and spice on Hotflush from young George Fitzgerald, taking his imacculately swung, post-everything steppers' sound into ever more engaging climes. The title track is an irresistible melding of scything, Joy O-style synths and flexing garage-techno drums, but there's an edge to the editing and arrangement which really marks this out from al the similarly oriented tunes kicking round at the moment. 'Feel Like' teams 'Show Me Love'-style organ stabs and feminine vocal pressure into a shuffling club killer and 'Friends In High Places' brings thing to an elastically funky denouement.
