There's a fuzzy organ line that begins "Evil's Nest" – and which really sets the tone for the slow, sinister approach of the tune – every bit as funky as other work from this wonderful group, but nicely brooding too! The drums are great, and they're equally nice on the flipside – that heavy breaking quality that the group not only play so well, but also record with the kind of crispness of a classic funky 45!
