With Guillaume & the Coutu Dumont sends a runner of a very special class into the race. On the third release of the still young Oslo label, he justifies his reputation with every bit, having released on labels like Hartchef and Mutek already. It's a journey through the world of modern dance music, always craving more. With a special sensitivity, he invites you on a shuffly trip, accompanied by blowers setting the floor into a trance. 'Mederico' is a sticky, groovy affair, reminding of tropical vastness, a very special interpretation of house, with clever percussion, harmonic chimes and a warm sub-bass, creating intense ecstatic atmosphere. 'Ocre' is in the same vein and closes this EP nicely.
