Soil is the wavy, debut EP from the Jamaican born, Maryland resident, Hiero. The nine track effort takes the listener on a hazy, lo-fi journey that feels as effortless as it does sublime. Featuring guest appearances from the fast rising, West London-based emcee, Lord Apex, as well as former XXL Freshmen and Interscope Records’ recording artist, Charles Hamilton—whom Hiero produces for—Soil is an all around underground gem. Originally released via DSPs through Declaime’s own SomeOthaship Connect in partnership with Fat Beats, the project is set to be available on vinyl this summer in a stunning red and blue quad configuration with silver splatter.
