Detroit trio HiTech – comprised of King Milo, Milf Melly and DJ 47Chop – have re-released their self-titled album. Evoking their city’s Ghettotech counterculture – merging filthy internet colloquials with stuttering, schizoid rhythms and breaks – HiTech have fast become a sought-after trio on the live music circuit. They released ‘HiTech’ in 2022 followed by ‘Détwat’ in 2023, cementing their status as new-gen tricksters in the Motor City club tradition. They’ve been co-signed Earl Sweatshirt, Danny Brown and Pink Siifu, and played lauded sets at Berghain, Rinse, Primavera Sound, and Bad Bonn Kilbi.
