It feels like a long while since we've heard from Ikonika, so it's good to have her back, this time with a hefty six-tracker on her own Hum+Buzz label. The title track is sensational - somewhere between vampy techno, dubstep and low-riding, synthed-out ghetto-tech. It's a slippery one to pin down, and therein lies the appeal. 'Take Pictures' and 'Catch Vibes' continue down a similar route, all squelched out acid lines, 808 pulses, Italian House pianos and lurid video game synth motifs - they're absolutely bloody bonkers, and not entirely coherent, but they really sound like nothing else out there at the moment, and that can only be a good thing. Another highlight arrives in the shape of 'With Your Mouth', a swaggering, acid-flecked electro-techno number rolling on an aquatic Drexciyan flex.
