Ikonika - Idiot - 12" Vinyl

An on-form Ikonika drops a brilliant cut from her recent Hyperdub album backed with a champion remix from Altered Natives. 'Idiot' has had fiends busting for a copy for some months now after appearing in the sets of all the usual suspects. It follows from her slower tempo remix for the Brown Acid with a canny blend of dancin' Funky and trademark synthline curls interspersed with those woozy dragging breakdowns that herself, Zomby, and Deadboy deploy so damn well. On the flip Altered Natives offers what is easily his best track since 'Rass Out', cooling out the excesses of the original with a deep house feel, while lending a British accent with chunky square subs and a bruk-house swagger. So dope!
