Tejada makes what sounds like a (really good) lost Plaid album - recommended!!
"Tejada's work is varied and often surprising, veering wildly from his House pieces with Arianne Leviste to his deeper textured electronix infused material for Defocus and his Hip-Hop stretches for labels like Scape and K20. `Daydreams' fits snugly in between Tejada's tron-based material and a quirky melodic sensibility that often brings to mind Plaid at their finest. `Shifted' expresses these cross-generic influences best, a slow-ish hip hop cycle twisted with a warm melody lifted straight outta Plaid's Restproof Clockwork-era material. `Count The Seconds', meanwhile, unfolds itself with a tingling sprinkle of deeply warm and moving strings that find at their root a deep affinity with all things Detroit. 12 tracks in total, gorgeously uplifting summertime idm/pop...unmissable.
