Jon Hassell's All Saints output gets roughed up and shaken down by Bandshell, Patten, No UFO's and Some Truths. All four versions wrench the originals outta their 4th world serenity and into a murkier, modern dimensions. Bandshell sets a precedent with his roiling, coruscated 'Inversion', and Patten gives a destabilised, para-dimensional techno version of 'Metal Fatigue'. No UFO's is most sensitive with the material, turning in a silty, shimmering dub version of 'Ba-Ya' from the 'City: Works Of Fiction' album, and Ralph Cumbers aka Bass Clef aka Some Truths impresses the modular dismantling of 'Elsewhere Is A Negative Mirror'.
