Speicher 47 presents Jurgen Paape back in the ring with his gloves off. "Fruity Loops 1" marches heartily straight ahead as if there's no tomorrow: envision a semi-truck loaded with nuclear waste bouncing down the techno highway. Barren fat bass rebounds against a classic, wild-pitch-bolero that can only recall the heyday of DJ Pierre. The B-side is veiled in a voluptuous camo net of harmonious grandeur, flowing with a similar straightforwardness to its predecessor. But this companion differs, preferring to dwell in the wee hours, when a dance floor makes all too much sense.
