Melbourne, Australia's Kloke got his start producing dubstep and garage, gradually evolving into a more experimental and less categorizable hybrid of styles. He switched to jungle around 2018, and soon became a significant part of the genre's revival, regularly collaborating with London's Tim Reaper and issuing music through his Future Retro London imprint. Kloke's On Rhythm is the label's first full-length release, and it couldn't be more satisfying. Like Reaper, Kloke simply has the sound of mid-'90s atmospheric jungle down to a tee, nailing the perfect combination of lush, swirling textures and hard-hitting, choppy breakbeats. - Paul Simpson
