New album from Schneider TM collaborator and the man who had his hands on the unreal Smith's cover 'There Is A Light That Never Goes Out'. This album will appeal to followers of minimal german techno and experimental electronic labels such as Orthlorng Musork, Mego, Tigerbeat 6 and Mille Plateaux, but the dynamic here is far different than the usual clicks'n cuts. 'Player, Player' is a multifaceted yet simply motivated record. The music is futuristic, but it comes from a strong punk ethos, using elements of dub and techno to frame fragments of melody and noise and continually builds.
