Shrink shows some wear from the stacks but VINYL IS MINT & SEALED - The return of Labtekwon who dropped the amazing poetical opus 'Song Of The Sovereign' on Mush a couple of years ago. Coming from the leftside Lab's lyrics are well on the complex tip but with a lot of humour and depth. 'Booty Catcher' has dope lyrics, percussive drops and bass bombs. 'Frk Prvrt' brings tha' champagne fonk.. wobbly basslines and boomin' beats. 'Thing Thing' speeds things up into fast rap Anticon style. The b-side drops into the archibes for more treats coming on like a mixture of Sun-Ra and Old Dirty Bastard.
