unofficial import reissue on colored vinyl - Out of Brooklyn in 1993, a new band emerged onto the alternative metal scene. Influenced in equal parts by New York hardcore, groove metal, and grunge, Life of Agony was a unique act. When their debut album, River Runs Red, came out, there was little like it. Although dark, depressing, and at times difficult to listen to, River Runs Red is a well-written and expertly executed work of metal that has stood the test of time.
