Discos Más starts off 2025 strong with a Los Disco Duro version of the classic “Cumbia de Sal”. This rendition bridges the gap between the most well known Moog cover version and the 60s original. Complete with vocoder vocals and resonant synthesizer lines, funky drums enhance the cumbia beat. This double A sider is backed with a cover of Mexican Institute of Sound’s “Mexico”. Camilo Lara’s original composition is augmented with the requisite vocoder vocals, synthesizers and cumbia percussion for which Los Disco Duro have come to be known.
