"Star" is a funky number with skittish drums and a loping guitar line – which creates a slightly spooky groove – and really brings a lot to the female lead and male backup vocals! Drums on "Get On Up" are tighter and more fast-breaking – and the tune's got this riffing guitar that's all bold and fuzzy – fast-moving, and really setting things up for the vocals!
