Brilliant set of remixes for A.E. Paterra's Majeure project coming from Black Strobe, Steve Moore and Justin K Broadrick. Moore initiates the mission with a motorik Italo mix of the title track, conjuring vintage Giallo imagery and comparisons to Legowelt's most cinematic moments. Justin K Broadrick also takes a pop at the same track, keeping the steady disco pace intact with rockier drums before collapsing into the sludgy style he's best known for. Best of all is the truly epic Black Strobe mix on the flip, taking the adrenal injection of 'The Dresden Codex' and expanding it to a 17 minute Italo symphony with some majestic synth work reminding of Gavin Russom's 'No Fun Acid' remix. Heavyweight.
