The debut release from DJ/rupture + Shadetek's new Dutty Artz imprint comes in the form of a nasty little 4-tracker with dubsteppy/grimey/electroid remixes and nuff jacked dancehall vocals. Barcelona's Cauto kicks off the proceedings with an energetic breakstep remix of Shy FX's "Original Nuttah" in "Old School", then takes things down to a skanking boil on the dubby "Bona Vida". Flip it over for a pair from top Brooklyn grimester Matt Shadetek, who pounds Tanya Stephen's "Can't Breathe" with congas and lazer bass, then vocodes out with Sizzla on the punky dubstep (punkstep?) remix to "Girlfriend".
