Untold and Surgeon head up the first official remixes 12" spawned from Moderat's self titled album. Both producers manage to spin the original track way off its axis, revising the original as exuberant future-step and precisely streamlined techno respectively. Untold's mix is probably one of the finest of his career to date, introducing a heat-seeking riff wrestled from the original and rewired onto a dryly tense but kinetic breakbeat built in his almost anti-funk style, but with enough potential release to charge techno and dubstep soundsystems anywhere. On the flip Surgeon's mix takes a less explosive but steadily building route to dancefloor satisfaction with metallic-timbred percussion shuffled just off-track to capture that innate sense of swing that always makes his tracks to guaranteed to involve ever corner of the floor. Two prime heavyweights for DJs and dancers alike. A big tip!
