Twenty years after Morphine released Like Swimming, the Boston trio’s major-label debut, a newly discovered show from the band’s 1997 tour commemorates the record’s anniversary as a limited-run, vinyl-only package.
Recovered last year from Warner’s vault, the March 31 performance in San Francisco captures singer-bassist Mark Sandman, saxophonist Dana Colley and drummer Billy Conway just two days after Like Swimming first charted.
