Murmur - Fume - 12" Vinyl

A good few years after their last release and a well received RA mix, the Murmur unit warm up their machines for a sublime dub house trick backed with a PCB 3000 remix. Their trademark style of organically shuffling house is still firmly in place, only perhaps belying some deeper dub influence with a hypnotic moire of corruscating machine rhythms and narcotically filtered chords in lead cut 'Tangle'. 'Fumes' follows with a respectful salute to BC's beatless moments, while PCB 3000 (no prizes for guessing who they be) occupy the flip, revising 'Fumes' as a meeting of Moritz and Theo Parrish high on the moors somewhere, crushing grey skied dub chords into a deadly 113bpm roller. Ace.
