This Portland duo make their Warp debut with this chaotic slice of psychedelic wreckage, sounding like a troubling mixture of Led Zeppelin, Animal Collective and Health on 'One Hit', as the track slips into big, staccato riffing before after just a few seconds the whole thing dissolves into manic, noisy decay only to pull together again for more stomping guitar abuse. On the B-side 'Ark Drum' shows an entirely different side to the band, offering some weird rainforest dub exercise littered with glistening percussion and strange chanting. Ace.
