Dubquake Records start off the season by unleashing O.B.F’s “Fufu Lala”, a dangerous new 12” featuring vocalists Charlie P and Aza Lineage. Once again the French sound system decide to push the boundaries of Dub, creating a heavy cross-over between modern Roots, Grime, Hip-Hop and Dancehall. On the A side, Charlie P lashes out against the so-called “Fufu Lalas” of the music industry, those higher ups who act without integrity. Rico OBF went IN on the instrumental and the crowd-pleasing “Fufu Dub” mix. Flip the record for a sweet remix of Aza Lineage’s “Rebel Daawtaz” and Charlie P’s “Hustler” on the same riddim.
