2025 reissue on white vinyl, originally released in 2016 - French crew OBF link with Essex vocalist Charlie P for 'Sixteen Tons Of Pressure', a spring-scale breaking anvil drop of a 12" pressed on white vinyl, distilling the rare grit of Anglo-Norman system culture. Across four tracks, Charlie P's unmistakable vocal style, part singjay, part street poetry, cuts through OBF's weighty, echo-laden riddims, built live and loud in an acoustically primed studio. Drawn on dub, digital reggae and the raucous energy of European dancehall sessions, providing supermassive dub versions on both sides; the digi-melodica coda via don 'Sixteen Tons Of Dub' is especially hilarious, while 'Culture Riddim' swells outward with equal but plucky snarl.
