Raw funky sounds from Penza Penza – maybe one of the best psychedelic funk bands we've ever heard, and for good reason too – given that Misha Panfilov is involved, and really helps the group find their sound! The production is wonderful – all sorts of weird bits and spaces around the edges – so that all the freak and fuzz of the guitars are mixed with the frenzied work on drums – all to create a powerhouse sound that never lets up at all! These guys are definitely a funk band, but one with an equal love of psychedelic freakbeat tunes as well
