The pioneering producer ROB RIVES makes his long-awaited ret urn to wax with two stunning new tracks for Wave sublabel Cl ick Tracks. This guy was making minimal way before it was co ol, and this release is vintage Rives. A-side "Soda Cans" is a twisted late night tribal techer that ominously builds int o menacing Danny T 6AM territory with hints of acid and cras hing percussion galore. B-side "Jesus Juice" is an epic mini malist cut that will just cause hysteria on a big system - a 2005 update on the Basic Channel/Maurizio sound that must be heard to be believed. Awesome, awesome stuff from one of the innovators of the techy side of house.
