ROLAND HAYNES JR and his group PHENIX only released one single: modern soul flipped with jazz on a 45 back in 1983. Thankfully HAYNES kept personal recordings of many live gigs from the band performing at the Quarter Moon Club in South Carolina, hence this 90 minute album!
