Or maybe you saw him and Damu killing it in Philly in the HOLE UP! music video (Kilawatt 1.5). By now you should know: Raw poetic is creativity all over the map. In a great way. Raw specializes in song writing and performing. He raps, but he sometimes sings, plays guitar, bass, or drums ... he does all kinds of stuff. Armed with the unique ability to hit from many musical angles, and a gifted writing ability, Raw Poetic brings us a variety of vocal styles and first rate MCing.
Behind the scenes, Raw Poetic has been busy writing and recording new songs with some of your favorite producers from the Redefinition crew. Now, armed a whole bunch of awesome songs and videos, Redefinition Records and Raw Poetic are ready to kick off an new wave of quality records.
Raw Poetic's new EP features no less than 3 tracks produced by the legendary K-Def. Looking ahead; Raw P recently completed a whole album with K-Def (late 2012 release), as well as a 6 track EP produced entirely by Kev Brown (Fall 2012)! Finally, as if that wasn't enough, he's about halfway done recording a new full length album produced by Damu The Fudgemunk (2013 release).
